Aoshima
Aoshima, in southern Japan, had long been a place Yukiko felt destined to encounter—as if it had been waiting for her. The shore, in particular, seemed to whisper her name.
The moment she stepped onto the sand, she sensed an energy rising quietly from the earth itself. The sunlight, the salt-laden air, the texture of the sand beneath her feet, and the rhythm of the waves—all moved through her, resonating beyond words.
Drawn by this unseen presence, she knew she had to weave its essence into her art. With deep reverence, she gathered sand from the shores of Aoshima, carrying with it a fragment of that living spirit. Today, that sacred energy endures within her jewellery—a quiet tribute to the enduring power of nature.
